Drunks of Antiquity: The Detroit Historic Bar Tour was a blast! Jess did a fantastic job sharing all of the history behind each bar and the surrounding neighborhoods. We had an amazing night celebrating a friend's birthday and supporting the great mission of The Detroit Bus Company!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Detroit Bus Company Christmas Tour! Great staff and beautiful Holiday stops in Detroit! Looking forward to doing another tour with them on our next trip to the 313! AAA +++
Always a fun way to spend the holidays! This was our 2nd year on the holiday tour. Grest stops with plenty of time to enjoy food and drinks. Driver and guide were very festive! Good for all ages, too!
This year, our family embraced a wonderful new holiday tradition: the Holiday Glow Tour with the Detroit Bus Company. The experience was nothing short of incredible. From ordering tickets to finding parking and boarding the bus, every aspect was seamless and well-organized. The customer service team and tour guides were exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to making the experience festive and enjoyable. A delightful surprise on our tour was the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, which added an extra touch of magic to the evening. We highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to explore the other experiences they offer in the future!
“A Great Day with the Detroit Bus Company” My husband and I, along with a few friends, recently had the opportunity to join a tour hosted by the Detroit Bus Company, and it was a genuinely a fantastic experience. Our tour included a preview of two tours Welcome to Detroit + The Party Loop. We enjoyed several stops around Downtown Detroit, each offering its own unique charm. One of our first destinations was the Dequindre Cut. The urban art scene was fabulous! Jess, our knowledgeable tour guide, provided interesting insights into each piece we encountered, enhancing our appreciation for the local art. The visit to Tiger Stadium was a nostalgic one for sports fans. Jess shared interesting historical facts about the venue, making the stop informative as well as fun. The highlight of the tour for me was our time spent in The Belt. This area was a lively spot with a great selection of cocktails and food. The atmosphere was vibrant, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos to remember the day by. Our group brought costumes to add flair to the photos. Being able to bring drinks on the bus added a relaxed and social aspect to the tour. The bus was comfortable, and our driver, Starr, ensured a smooth ride throughout the evening. While they offer private tours like the one we took, they also have public tours if you can't or don't want to fill a bus. Overall, the Detroit Bus Company provided a well-organized and amazing tour on a beautifully painted "art bus". It was an evening well spent exploring some of Detroit's hot spots, with good company and a friendly crew. I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Detroit for the first time or 100th time in a laid-back and enjoyable way. We are already planning our next tour!
